There is a bug that can be exploited to obtain a key.But you can't exit the vents once you have the key, since dogs will be following you from under or above. On the mobile version of TE2, you can hide in the vents with a key and wait for lockdown to end.The possible reason as to why the color was changed between games could be to help avoid confusion between the Utility and Staff key. This has no further significance and both keys function the same. On the console/mobile versions of TE1, and all versions of TE2, the orange key will appear cyan. This feature is only in TE2 and on the Console/Mobile edition of TE1 only, they require Staff Keys on the PC version of TE1.Green doors with health symbols can only be opened by either the infirmary staff or a player wearing the Infirmary Overalls. Many people used to (and still do) believe that you can knock out the Warden and steal the white key from them, however this can be easily debunked as the Warden cannot be interacted by the player whatsoever.Silver doors in TE2 cannot be opened by players in any way, and only appear to open during escape cutscenes. White doors can only be opened by the staff (warden, guards) or unlocked by the player during a prison takeover.Blue doors (with star icons in TE2) can only be opened by guards or while the player is wearing a Guard Outfit. There are a few colored doors that don't have their own respective key.If you access the menu from an unconscious guard and have putty, select the key and touch X on Xbox or space on PC to make a key mold without needing to access the craft menu.A real key obtained by using the exploit works forever.Plastic Keys are contraband and they are made with a Key Mould and Molten Plastic. On Console/Mobile versions the order may be Cyan, Green, Purple, Red, Yellow. You can name them the color key they have to easily remember who has what color key. The guards from 1st to 5th have the following keys: Yellow, Orange, Purple, Red, Green. The key color unlocks the color lock as is on the door. You can find out what number the guards have by writing down the guard order when naming your people or by simply giving the first 5 guards a specific name to recognize them. Be sure to make note of which guards have which key. This can be resolved by crafting a less durable Plastic Key then putting the original back into the guard's inventory. However, when the guard wakes up and doesn't have the key, the player will be sent to solitary (TE1) or a lockdown will be initiated (TE2). The player can obtain a key by knocking out a guard. This key typically isn't as useful as the others, as most of those areas can be more easily accessed by chipping the walls surrounding them (or simply switching to that job). Note that if the player already has a Job, they can access the room corresponding to their job without a key, but not other job rooms. The Work key can open workroom doors, such as the janitor room, without requiring the actual job needed to access those areas. Prisons where this key is almost mandatory include Stalag Flucht (to access the area containing the generator and the generator itself), Jungle Compound (to access the building with the Unsigned ID Papers), and HMP-Irongate (to easily access and skip certain sections of the roof). The Staff key opens critical areas prisoners cannot access, such as the generator room, or the guards barracks. This key typically isn't as useful as the others, as most of those areas can be more easily accessed by chipping the walls surrounding them. The Utility key can open utility areas, which usually leads to ladders to the roof or ventilation. This key is useful if you plan to escape from outside during night, but like the cell key, it can be avoided if you make a hole leading to the outside. It open the doors that lead to the exterior yard, sometimes also an inner yard. The Entrance key is only useful between 22:00 and 10:00, when exterior doors are locked. This key can sometimes be avoided by making a hole in your cell, but some areas will still require cell keys like the previously mentioned sub-sections. the area separating the cells and everything else in Jungle Compound requires a cell key). It allows the player to open all cell doors, and, in certain prisons, a sub-section of the prison containing all the cells (eg. The Cell key is only useful between 23:00 and 8:00, when cells are locked. On Console/Mobile, the order is Cyan (Utility), Green, Purple, Red, and Yellow. On PC, the order is Yellow, Orange (Utility), Purple, Red, and Green. The guards will have certain keys based on their order in the pre-game screen. Of course you can also include them as images or create classes that append the icons as pseudo elements very much similar to how Font Awesome icons are generally used. I’ve seen many high quality projects using inline SVG for icons. What I like is that you can also take the SVG code directly from their website not having to include the whole project. I expect the number of icons to increase in time. I must say that the look and feel of these icons are more premium compared to Font Awesome. The icons have been developed in Figma and exported as SVG’s and later integrated as webfonts. After you have downloaded the files all you need to do is include the `` file which includes all the webfont classes like this:īootstrap icons has an initial set of over 200 icons and it is open sourced under the MIT license. If you don’t want to use the above methods you can also just download the source files directly. If you have your project dependencies managed by NPM then you might want to include Font Awesome using: I believe this to be the best way of using Font Awesome because you can choose to include only the icons that you are actually using, reducing the amount of data that is being loaded altogether. You can get a free CDN link and configure which icons you want the use for your website. Getting started with Font Awesome is quite easy and can also be included in a lot of ways, such as using CDN, NPM, Yarn or by just downloading the source files. How to use Font Awesome icons in Bootstrap For example, they launched a set of icons for COVID-19 awareness. It is also a good sign that they seem to be very up to date with updating their base set of icons. Their website is also really well done when searching for certain icons and letting you know which classes and markup you have to use to make it appear. At Themesberg we make use of the pro icons and I must say it is worth every dollar if you want to take your design to the next level. There are very few occasions when I couldn’t find a good icon from the large pool that Font Awesome offers by default. The design of the icons are of very high quality and they are SVG powered meaning any size you give the icons it will still look perfect. Font Awesome Iconsįont Awesome currently has 1,588 free icons and an additional 7,842 pro icons if you opt for the paid version. In this article I want to compare the two icon libraries and also show you how you can get started using them. I have personally used Font Awesome for the past couple years but with the release of Bootstrap icons I am inclined to test it out on a few new websites. Last year we found out about the release of a custom Bootstrap Icon library on the official blog. With the upcoming release of Bootstrap 5 we know for sure that there will be custom Bootstrap Icons included in the framework. Unfortunately with the release of Bootstrap 4 icons were no longer included by default in Bootstrap, rather the documentation recommends other icon libraries such as Font Awesome, Iconic, Octicons and so on. If you used Bootstrap 3 you remember the awesome Glyphicons that came with the framework. It was created by Dave Gandy to be used with Twitter Bootstrap but in recent years they took it to the next level and also created a Pro version for those who want to upgrade. The initial release dates back to the 21th of August 2012 having roughly a 38% market share among websites using third-party font scripts right below Google Fonts. The de facto leader of open source icons is Font Awesome. Icons are mostly used to complement other components and texts to offer a more suggestive visual experience to visitors. Nowadays icons have become an almost indispensable part of user interfaces for websites. Influential San Franciscan punks Dead Kennedys’ brilliant debut single, “California Über Alles,” remains one of the best political punk songs to come out of the US. They could also knock out short, sharp and savage political punk with the best of ’em.Ĭlick to load video Dead Kennedys: California Über Alles (1978) Founders of the anarcho-punk subculture, the band’s music advocated animal rights, feminism and environmentalism, and sometimes leaned towards the avant-garde – as “Do They Owe Us A Living?” shows. Crass: Do They Owe Us A Living? (1978)Ī curious mix of hippie ideals and white-hot punk fury, Crass operated out of a communal house deep in Epping Forest, from where they promoted anarchism as both a political ideology and a resistance movement. However, they did write great songs full of socio-political commentary, also including “Guns Of Brixton” and the oil-crisis epic “Rock The Casbah.” Arguably better still is “Tommy Gun,” Joe Strummer’s hard-hitting critique of terrorists and the cult status their nefarious activities can attract. With hindsight, The Clash played the role of punk’s cultural ambassadors rather than nail their colors to any specific political mast. John Lydon’s furious invective still sends shivers up the spine, however, and, to this day, “God Save The Queen” packs an almighty clout that will forever ensure its place among the best political punk songs.Ĭlick to load video The Clash: Tommy Gun (1978) Sex Pistols: God Save The Queen (1977)Īrguably the daddy of all political punk songs, Sex Pistols’ notorious second single hijacked Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee and shocked the public so much that Britain’s broadcasting bastion, the BBC, banned the song and refused to admit it had gone to No.1 during the summer of 1977. Listen to the best punk music on Spotify, and scroll down for our best political punk songs. Accordingly, punk has sired some of music’s most potent political critiques, and while few were written with longevity in mind, many of the best political punk songs have retained their relevance. Punk’s anti-establishment stance means it openly thrives on controversy and the desire to provoke, so its spearhead acts have inevitably been drawn to commenting on socio-political issues since the genre’s inception in the 70s. Jetting out from the garage were some door ways that led to ladders, allowing characters to enter or exit. This could be a scanning tool as the top of the machine was covered at the time, but looked to have some sort of lens that needed to be protected between shoots. An open track in the ceiling looks like it is a pathway for this device to circle around whatever is on the platform. At the opposite end of the ramp by the platform is a large device that extends down from the ceiling. At the center of the garage is a platform with lights set into the floor. The set is roughly the same size and shape of the Jupiter set, round and has a large, heavy ramp that is big enough for the Chariot to enter and exit. This barcode (a long thin black strip with various breaks in it) can be seen on various props, including the costumes.īefore heading into the main Jupiter 2 set, the press was shown the ship’s garage. Odds are this detail will never be seen, but the sticker consists of information about the vehicle such as its name ‘j2 Chariot’ and a series-specific barcode. In the driver side rear wheelwell, there is a very small sticker. There is English and Japanese writing on various parts of the vehicle. At the rear of the vehicle is a row of what looks like cylindrical fuel cells recessed into the body. The tires are large and more than capable of dealing with rough terrain. The Chariot’s front comes equipped with a towing cable and a series of LED headlights. The steering wheel and dashboard are decked out with some small keyboards and some smaller electronics. The interior is minimalist but functional: seats with cross-harness seatbelts, cargo netting near the back, and an instrument panel. The Chariot’s body is white with black windows and sports a pair of gull-wing doors. Obvious homages to the original vehicle exist, but overall the Chariot shares a lot in common with the Mako from the original Mass Effect game. By the garage set was the full-size Chariot, the Robinson’s mean of ground transportation. Also visible were a few six-foot tall stalagmite that would brightly colored in various shades of orange, green and blue. Remnants of glaciers from the first episode were piled up, ready for destruction. Since the character does not breath, the spaceship does not have an enclosed cockpit.įollowing Ross Dempster’s presentation, the press group was shown into the main soundstage where the sets of the Jupiter 2, its garage, and an ice cave were. The vessel is like a manta ray, with several open areas, much like the Robot’s body. This revelation came about on an accompanying slide that put the Robot’s ship on display. A big change is not only the Robot’s look but also its origin. Given that “Lost in Space” is making several changes from the original 1960s series and, thankfully, the ’97 movie, it was not too big of a surprise that risks would be taken. The body is a mass of interwoven metal strands with open areas where one can look straight through. The thing was around seven foot almost royal blue in color with gold trim and somewhat resembled a mixture of Ultron, a bipedal reptile and a Geth from Mass Effect. The face is a curved blank glass oval which can change color. Three images of the above-mentioned creature were shown on a new slide each was identical with the exception of its face. Assumptions were made that this was just an alien, but a few in attendance gambled that this was the Robot even though it bore no resemblance to the classic claw-handed mechanical member of the Robinson family. While being escorted to the video village earlier, a strange creature was briefly glanced on a monitor the crew was reviewing before the roundtable scene started filming. There had been an air of anticipation during Dempster’s time as many present were interested in a very specific part of the series: the Robot. Adderall is the only drug class that showed increased use in 2012, the federal survey reported. But they can cause a wide range of side effects including insomnia, aggression, mood and behavior changes, twitching, and shaking.Ībout 15 percent of 12 th graders say they misuse prescription drugs, according to the 2012 Monitoring the Future survey, and about 6 percent say they've misused Ritalin or Adderall. Other popular ADHD drugs like Concerta and Ritalin are methlphenidates, and are considered less risky. Side effects can be as simple as insomnia, or as serious as sudden high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, and seizures. What they are saying is that doctors have a moral obligation to protect the best interests of the child - who doesn't yet have legal control over health care decisions - and to prevent the misuse of medication.Īmphetamines like Adderall and Vyvanse can be addictive, which is why they're classified as Schedule II controlled substances, along with Oxycontin and morphine. "We're not touching that here," Graf told Shots. The neurologists are not saying that stimulant drugs shouldn't be used to treat ADHD, which is characterized by problems with attention and hyperactivity. Various surveys report that 8 to 35 percent of college students say they have used stimulant pills to improve school performance. More pills in circulation means more pills that can be bought, borrowed, or snitched. Over the same time, the number of prescriptions for Adderall and other ADHD drugs has soared exponentially. The number of children diagnosed with ADHD rose 24 percent from 2001 to 2011, according to a study published earlier this year. Prescribing study drugs is "inadvisable" in teenagers, the Academy said, a word chosen to reflect both teenagers' growing autonomy, and the fact that the Academy can't tell doctors what drugs they can and can't prescribe. That's because children's brains are still developing, the paper says, and they don't have the ability to weigh the risks and benefits of medication. Prescribing ADHD drugs to children who don't have the disorder is "not justifiable," according to the American Academy of Neurology's new position paper. The buzz term for that? "Pediatric neuroenhancement." "This is an ethics issue."īut the message is also being sent to teenagers and their parents, some of whom who might think that giving their child a little leg up for a big test isn't such a bad thing. "We don't believe that doctors are supposed to be drug dispensers for healthy people," says William Graf, a professor of pediatrics and neurology at the Yale School of Medicine. The brain docs are directing that advice first and foremost to their fellow physicians, the ones who have been writing all those scrips for people who don't have ADHD, or who perhaps don't think about all the pills their patients sell on the student black market. The American Academy of Neurology now says: Stop that. They're used as "smart drugs" or " study drugs" by students who find the pills give them a mental edge. Quite a few of those pills don't end up being used to treat ADHD, though. The drug is used to treat ADHD and is used by some students to boost their academic performance.Īdderall and other ADHD medications are among the most prescribed drugs in America.
